The New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement (DGE) has published the state’s gaming revenues and win totals for June, reporting year-over-year upticks in casino and internet gaming wins, but a drop in sports betting revenue compared to the previous year. Total gaming revenue reported by the Garden State’s casinos, racetracks, and their partners for June was $401.5m, a 2.2% increase YoY from June 2021’s $392.8m. For year-to-date, total gaming revenue is currently standing at $2.43bn, a 15.2% improvement on the $2.11bn reported in the same period the previous year.
The DGE declared that the total casino win for the nine casino hotel properties was $229.1m for June 2022, a 6.8% uptick YoY (June 2021: $214.5m). Year-to-date, total casino win stands at $1.31bn, an 18% growth compared to $1.11bn recorded at this point last year. Per casino vertical, slot machines recorded revenues of $171.1m, an 11% improvement YoY (2021: $154.1m), while table games earned $58.1m in turnover, a 3.9% decrease YoY (2021: $60.4m).
