UNITED FAVOURITES FOR VILLA GAME

Manchester United are favourites to pick up the three points ahead of the visit of Aston Villa in the Premier League this weekend. Villa are underdogs according to the soccer betting odds from various sites.

Ole Gunner Solskjaer and his Manchester United players have made a bright start to the new Premier League season and they have the same number of points with Liverpool and Chelsea who are both at the top of the table.

Manchester United boss Solskjaer and his players are not at the Premier League summit due to inferior goal difference as they have won four and drawn one of their first five league games this season just like what's obtainable with Chelsea and Liverpool.

Manchester United were favourites for their opening game of the season at home to rivals Leeds United as per the soccer betting odds from various soccer betting sites and they made it in emphatic style. The Red Devils thumped Leeds United 5-1 thanks to the three goals from Portuguese international Bruno Fernandes. England international Mason Greenwood and Brazilian midfielder Fred also scored for Manchester United during the game, while Luke Ayling scored the lone goal for Leeds United.
The win over Leeds United was followed by the draw with hosts Southampton. The Saints were able to secure a 1-1 draw with Manchester United. Greenwood made it two goals in two games with the lone Manchester United strike against Southampton.
Since the Southampton draw, Manchester United have beaten Wolves, Newcastle United and West Ham United. Greenwood scored the lone goal in the 1-0 win over hosts Wolves. Cristiano Ronaldo then scored a brace in the 4-1 victory at home to Newcastle United before he scored one of the goals in the 2-1 win over their hosts, Manchester United.
Manchester United can make it four league wins on the trot if they live up to their tag as favourites at the expense of Aston Villa.
