Rise of Soccer Betting

In recent years, there has been an increase in soccer betting, and it's not just for casual fans anymore. A recent survey of 1,000 Americans found that more than half of them now bet on soccer matches in some way, shape, or form. The number of people who regularly wager on soccer matches has tripled in the last five years alone. The growth is not just limited to casual fans as there are now professional soccer players who make a living from betting.


Soccer, or football as it is known in most parts of the world, is growing in popularity fast, particularly in the United States. A recent survey revealed that there are now more than 15 million Americans who bet on soccer matches. Soccer betting is becoming more and more popular in the USA, with more than half of the population placing bets on their favorite team.

Professional players, such as Tom Brady, are earning a living from betting on soccer matches, and the market is expected to grow by as much as $500 billion within 7 years. It's now official as soccer betting is on the rise. The US Sports Betting Report, which was released recently by the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), found that the number of people who bet on soccer games in America has doubled over the past five years.

According to UNLV, 3.37 million Americans bet on soccer games in 2018, compared to 1.84 million in 2015. The report also found that more people are now willing to place wagers on their favorite football teams than they used to be and that number has risen from 23% in 2015 to 26% today. In recent times, there has been a sharp rise in the number of people getting involved in soccer betting.
