Manchester United and Chelsea receive boost in signing Moussa Dembele

Manchester United and Chelsea have received a potential boost in signing Moussa Dembele from Lyon this summer. The Frenchman was the subject of a transfer approach from Frank Lampard’s side last month but Les Gones made it clear that they would not sanction the sale of the striker at the halfway stage of the league campaign.

However, it appears that they won’t block his departure at the end of the campaign with club president Jean-Michel Aulas hinting over the same, he told reporters: "We already have a certain number of offers for our players for summer. We sell the players who want to leave to where they want to go.”

Graham Potter was seen as a saviour for Brighton after the club picked up a 3-0 victory over Watford in the first game of the season. However, it has been a downhill slide for the Seagulls ever since. Brighton have now slipped to 16th place in the table and they have only picked up three points from the last six games. The upcoming assignment for the club is extremely tough as they are up against Spurs at home. Brighton have been unable to pick up home victories, as the team has failed to beat the likes of West Ham, Southampton, and Burnley.

Chris Wilder will be delighted at his team
occupying a top six position in the Premier League. However, his delight may be
short lived considering that Liverpool are in town this weekend. The defending
European champions have a 100% record in the Premier League after the recent
success over Chelsea. The Reds have already built up a five-point advantage
over Manchester City and Klopp will not be looking to drop points against a
newly promoted outfit.

Everton vs Wolverhampton Wanderers Betting Tips

The weekend’s clash at Goodison Park could be a potentially gloomy affair, with neither the Toffees nor Wolves having set the Premier League alight with their performance. In fairness to Wolves, they have had the excursions of the Europa League and that has somewhat contributed to their three successive draws to start the Premier League campaign.

Still, Nuno’s side can take heart from the fact that they have given a good account of themselves without getting beaten. The Wolves face another stern test of their credentials against the Toffees on Sunday, considering they will go into the game on the back of the second leg of the Europa League playoff against Torino.

All of Europe’s four major domestic leagues, the Premier League, La Liga, the German Bundesliga and Serie A are all in full swing as we’re about to hit October.

Every reigning champion from the top leagues, Manchester City, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus have all encountered slip ups, some bigger than others. Yet, the bookies are still backing last year’s winners despite them all showing signs of weaknesses.

The race for the Premier League title is on, with Liverpool still the favourites to lift the trophy. This has been the deal for the past three years and it seems this term is going in the same direction.

The Red have 100 percent record after three games, and they are widely expected to see off Burnley despite it being an away fixture. This would leave them with 12 maximum points but still far away from the 38-game haul for the season.
