Minnesota United vs Seattle Sounders Soccer Betting Tips

Minnesota United moved from the bottom of the Western Conference following a convincing 4-0 win over DC United.

Minnesota had failed to find the net in their previous three outings, but they managed to settle the scores against DC. Christian Ramirez and Abu Danladi gave Minnesota a 2-0 lead before halftime while an own goal added another to their tally. Miguel Ibarra finished things off with a delightful in injury time in the second half. Meanwhile, Seattle Sounders had to adjust with a 1-1 draw against LA Galaxy after they failed to find the breakthrough despite their opponents playing with 10 men in the dying minutes.

Minnesota earned a much-needed victory versus DC over the weekend, and this has moved them a position ahead of bottom-placed Colorado Rapids, who have two games in hand. Minnesota have been one of the worst goal getters in their division while their defensive record does not sound good either with 45 goals conceded - the most by any team in the MLS. Christian Ramirez is the club's leading goalscorer with 11 in 22 appearances. Seattle Sounders, on the other hand, have been the middle team in terms of goals scored and conceded with a difference of just 1.

Last year's MLS Cup winner have found form in the last couple of weeks, but they still struggle away from home with just a solitary win in five attempts. National hero Clint Dempsey and Will Bruin have both scored seven goals for the Sounders.

Despite being away from home, Sounders are deemed favourites for the game at 21/20 while Minnesota could be backed to win their second game on the trot at 5/2. Clean sheets have been a rarity for both clubs, but the Sounders could be tipped to keep the opponent out at 23/10. Minnesota have shipped in goals in a heap this campaign, but they are provided odds of 10/3 following their convincing performance over DC United.
