Brazil Faces Cameroon

Brazil will be taking on Cameroon in the final group A match of the World Cup 2014. It is a must win game for the Brazilians since they are still not into the last 16 round just yet. Impressive performances from Mexico and Croatia will see them fighting out with Brazil even for top spot going into this match. However, Luiz Felipe Scolari’s team are overwhelming favourites to get the three points in this match. Brazil are astonishing 1/8 to win the match compared to the best of 20/1 given to Cameroon getting three points.

After having lost both their group matches, Cameroon have been knocked out of the tournament, but the prospect of playing against the host and five-time world champions will motivate them immensely. Further, Cameroon manager has also stated that he is not likely to use Chelsea striker Samuel Eto’o. There has been a lot of infighting within the dressing room once again and this has led to Cameroon falling from the glory days when they used to be one of the top African teams. Still, there is an opportunity to see Cameroon getting something from the match due to the poor defensive displays of Brazil in the first two matches.

Neymar will be a favourite to score in the match (if you use a bet365 bonus code you can still get odds of 5/1 though) and it is not surprising to see him later the favourite standings. He has already got two goals to his name. Oscar has also been brilliant, but in the first two matches brought out the best and worst in him. The Chelsea midfielder was influential in all of Brazil’s attack in the match against Croatia, but he did not make even a single crucial pass in the 0-0 draw against Mexico. Brazil will also want to avoid South American opponents Chile in the last 16 round.
