CHELSEA OVERWHELMING FAVOURITES FOR NORWICH CLASH

European champions Chelsea are on a winning run of three games in all competitions ahead of their Premier League clash with bottom team Norwich City this weekend.

The Blues had suffered a rare dip in form with two straight defeats against Manchester City and Juventus in the Premier League and Champions League respectively, but they have been able to bounce back with the three successive wins in all competitions with two of those victories coming in the Premier League.

The current run of three straight wins started with the 3-1 home victory over Southampton just before the international break this month. The Blues scored two late goals through Timo Werner and Ben Chilwell to return to winning ways on the back of two consecutive defeats against a Southampton side who had James Ward-Prowse sent off in the last thirteen (13) minutes.

The Blues can make it four wins on the trot if they can beat Norwich City at home on Saturday and they are overwhelming favourites according to the soccer betting odds from different soccer betting sites. The reigning Champions League winners were also overwhelming favourites for the Champions League clash with Swedish champions Malmo on Wednesday according to the soccer betting odds from various soccer betting sites. They made it three wins in a row with a comprehensive 4-0 victory over Malmo at Stamford Bridge and a similar scoreline is a possibility when they take on Norwich City.
Chelsea were dealt a big blow on the injury front when Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner were subbed off during the Malmo game as a result of injury. The two strikers are expected to miss the game against Norwich City at Stamford Bridge later this week. Lukaku sustained an ankle injury during the game, while an hamstring problem was the reason for the premature exit of Werner during the game.
