LIVERPOOL STILL WITHOUT VICTORY

Liverpool are becoming into the weekend's match with Arsenal knowing that they are still without a victory in the new season, which is the same position as their opponents.

Liverpool lost in the opening match of the season 3-0 to West Brom, but they staged an amazing comeback in the second match of the season against Manchester city. Even though they could only draw 2-2 in the match, there has been a lot of positives from this match. Arsenal will be coming on the back of two goalless draws against Sunderland and Stoke city, and they are searching for their first goal of the season.

The arrival of two new strikers in the form of Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud has done little to change the form of the club. They are especially missing the attacking threat of Robin van Persie, who has moved to Manchester United. As result, Arsene Wenger has searching for his best formation and play in order to suit his new strikers. The only positive aspect for Arsene Wenger is the form of the 27-year-old Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla, who has been the best player for Arsenal in the last two matches.

Liverpool have been given an odds of 11/10 to victory, while Arsenal have been given an odds of 5/2 for their victory. A draw remains a distinct possibility given the start made by the both teams in the Premier league. The draw is given odds of 23/10, which is fairly good considering that both teams are without a victory. They will surely not be looking to lose this match as well, which would be catastrophic to their chances of finishing in the top four this season. Liverpool have not been in the top four for the last three seasons, which has decreased their odds of victory.
