Arsenal are the reigning FA Cup champions and they will start the defence of the title they won last season with an home game with Newcastle United on Saturday evening. The Gunners won a record 14th FA Cup title last season by beating London rivals Chelsea 2-1 in their final clash at the Wembley Stadium.

Chelsea had to finish the game with ten men after Croatian international Mateo Kovacic was dismissed for two yellow cards. Gabonese international hit man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was the star of the game after he bagged a brace against the Blues. Arsenal have two more titles than their nearest challengers Manchester United who have won 12 titles in the history of the competition.

AC Milan confirm contract extension for Zlatan Ibrahimovic

AC Milan have confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic has put pen-to-paper on a new contract until the summer of 2021. The former Sweden international joined the Rossoneri on a short-term deal in January after the expiry of his contract at LA Galaxy. He initially made a slow start to the proceedings, but ended the campaign with 11 goals and five assists from 20 games as the club secured Europa League football.


The Rossoneri were always eager to prolong his stay for another year and they have now officially confirmed that the 38-year-old has signed a fresh deal until next summer, a statement on their website read: “AC Milan is delighted to announce that Zlatan Ibrahimović has renewed his contract with the Club until June 30, 2021.
